Make a monetary donation. Monetary donations are welcome from individuals and corporations, and as tributes or memorials to honor special people. Also, many companies match employee contributions made to nonprofit organizations such as NCSI. So, before you make your gift, ask your employer if they will match your contribution. Making a donation on-line via giveMN.org is easy and allows you to track your giving.
Via Planned Giving – Here are some examples of how to specify a gift to NCSI in your Will or Trust document. Consult with your attorney to ensure the language properly fits your documents.
Sample Bequest of Remainder of Estate – “I give, devise, and bequeath to Northeast Contemporary Services, Inc., a Minnesota nonprofit corporation, all [or state the fraction or percentage] of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate.”
Sample Bequest of Specified Amount – “I give, devise, and bequeath [$]_____ or [%]_____ to Northeast Contemporary Services, Inc., a Minnesota nonprofit corporation.”

Volunteer your time and talents. Below are examples of ways you can volunteer as an individual or in partnership with co-workers or others, on a regular or single occasion basis. Most volunteer opportunities are with our Senior Service.Assist with and/or teach arts, crafts, and hobbies Assist with special events such as birthday celebrations and holiday parties Assist with trips to community destinations and events such as museums and concerts Provide entertainment at celebrations and parties Coordinate visits by “therapy” animals Visit with and assist seniors during lunch
